A young Unikko Tuho during her training.
I will not spoiler the story here, enought said that she was forced to undertake a hard training.
The state she lives in, Lumiportti, is placed in the valley among some mountains and fjords and is the only possible trade path. The trade however was made inpossible by the dragons. Usually, the reptiles inhabited the mountain caves, but the expanding human population got them irritated and they started raiding the villages and attacking tradesmen. After a long and unfinished war the humans decided to get rid of them for good.

EDIT:
I've tried to make the tree look more like a tree and not some random mist/cloud. >.> I hope it looks better now.

This is a really well-done piece! You picked a really difficult angle, and it turned out really well! For the tree, I might suggest adding a few lines into it that are similar to the line art you used for her and the other objects around her to make it look more like it belongs in the piece. I also think her forearm on the arm closest to the viewer is a little short, but otherwise this is a fantastic piece. I love the colors you used, it makes it look like it is a glimpse from her past.
